Testimonials

Language Services Bureau provides us with excellent turn times and project management. Their German translators ask the right questions to ensure quality translations. They have been flexible in working with our internal translations management tool — a collaboration that improves the efficiency of our projects.
– V. Simon
A US-based client from the hospitality industry for whom we are working on UI and Tutorials translation for their software product from English to German – 100 thousand words completed!
It was good working with Language Services Bureau for the last two years for translation from German to English and vice versa. Recently, the German–English translation project of approximately 1,80,000 words was completed satisfactorily within the stipulated time frame. The translation quality was excellent and maintained a domain-specific flavor. It was approved by our foreign collaborators for product documentation. I would also like to add that even after the completion of any project, Language Services Bureau has proved to be prompt in providing any support regarding the same.
– A Reputed Software Firm, Pune, India
Language Services Bureau has been working with us since 2003. Be it interpretation in Spanish or translation in German, they have always proved to be efficient and prompt in their service. If we require any language-related services, we shall surely contact Language Services Bureau again.
– A Multi-National Pharmaceutical Company, Pune, India
This is to officially communicate our appreciation for the services rendered by you during our paint shop project in TAPS. We especially appreciate your important activity in supporting our technicians through simultaneous interpretation in various languages such as Italian, French, and Spanish into English or Hindi.

Moreover, we highly appreciate your readiness in helping our technicians resolve day-to-day small problems like hotel accommodation, food, ticketing, etc. These are ordinary things but very important for people living in a foreign country — which is nice, but very different from their own.

In conclusion, we wish that your expert and well-appreciated collaboration with our company continues for a long time and that, in the future, there will be other projects or opportunities for utilizing your valuable support.
– ALSTOM AUTOMATION, S.p.A. Project Manager, G. Pozzali
Language Services Bureau has been our preferred language service provider for the last 15 years. They have provided both interpretation and translation services for us in many different languages (German, Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, French, Marathi, etc.). Documents from different domains — from patents to technical drawings, legal documents, and specifications — have been translated within the required time frames. The service is up to the mark, quick, and responsive. I have no hesitation in recommending them for any type of language service.
– A Vehicle Production Company, Pune, India
Thanks for all the translation work done for us in the technical, legal, and commercial domains in various languages over the last couple of years (especially given the voluminous work and tight timeframes!). Should we require any further translations, I am sure I will be contacting you again.
– An MNC Dealing in Water and Wastewater Treatment, Pune, India
We have received your German–English translated drawings, and it seems that the drawings were translated by a person with accurate technical knowledge. The translation is truly at the level of excellence that was desired.

“The course was planned well in advance. There was enough flexibility to accommodate participants’ convenience (dates and timings). The course material (PPT presentations, assignments, examples) was in place, and there was no last-minute rush. The duration of two weeks (10 hours) was good enough to cover basic translation concepts. All the questions were answered to participants’ satisfaction.

The assignments were discussed in detail (line by line). This helped participants understand client expectations and where things could go wrong. These sessions would definitely help to ‘yield’ good translators in the industry. Very happy to be a participant of the course — extremely satisfied!

It would be good (not necessary, but nice to have) to give a feel of corporate culture (client expectations, importance of timelines, NDAs, etc.) to participants — especially those from a language background who are not exposed to the corporate world.”

“The program was overall well designed and executed. It gave insight into the translation process and the problems encountered during the process. A smaller number of participants enabled us to concentrate better and ask queries freely.

The documents given for translation during training and internship were of varied kinds, which helped us understand the method and get well-versed with the terminology. During orientation, it was mentioned that one guest lecture would be conducted, probably by Mrs. Datar, but it didn’t happen. We missed the opportunity to meet the legend who translated during a time when the internet was not available — listening to her stories would have been enriching.

It would have been great if we got more documents to translate during the training (10 days: 10 documents). The course fee was affordable and reasonable. A practical experience on other CAT tools like Trados would have been great.

We liked the course and looked forward to every session. Thanks for a pleasing, enriching learning experience. After this course, I have better confidence while doing translations.”

“This Translation Orientation course gives a proper introduction to translation. It provides information about the tools required and frequently used in translation. The terms and terminologies were well explained with appropriate examples.

The session conducted by Mr. Joshi (on translation in the advertising domain) was extremely interactive and gave insights about how translation should and should not be done. After doing this course, I got to know the difficulties encountered while doing technical translations.”
– Pranav Patwardhan
“One of the things I liked about the Translation Orientation course was that I got to learn many new things about the field. The course introduced us to different techniques and gave us hands-on experience with CAT tools.

We worked on documents from different domains, which was enriching as well. The session with Mr. Joshi (on translation in the advertising domain), along with all the other sessions, benefitted us a lot. I would definitely recommend this course.”

“We recently used the certified translation services of Language Services Bureau for translating official documents like visa documents and tax certificates from Japanese to English. I express my sincere thanks to LSB and its courteous and helpful staff for all their support, commitment, and on-time delivery.

“This was my very first tryst with translation of documents, which I needed to submit to the UK Embassy for my impending visa. The documents were in French, related to my previous travel to France, and needed to be translated into English. The US Embassy asked for the translated documents at short notice.

Language Services Bureau was not only adept at translation but also provided a very quick turnaround for the documents, enabling me to prepare my application with the required paperwork. I would really recommend them for their professionalism and technical ability.”
