Devaki (Datar) Kunte is a second-generation entrepreneur who grew up seeing her mother’s venture, Language Services Bureau (LSB) become the pioneer Language Services Provider in India. Devaki is a linguist-entrepreneur who knows French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese and basic Japanese.

She developed a keen interest in languages and started helping her mother from a very young age for terminological work. She completed her Master’s Degree in French with Specialisation in Translation, as a University Topper from Pune. She also won a scholarship during MA from the University of Lausanne and studied French in Switzerland. She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management.

She cleared the NET exam for French (required as a qualification for University level teachers in India) and worked as a French Lecturer at various management institutes, colleges and Universities in India. She has taught Translation Studies at the French Masters course at SPPU (Pune University), and more recently in courses at Fergusson College and LSB.
